As a consultant, speaker, and author, Teresa shares her powerful journey and her insights on social justice and community impact. Her passion and proven track record as a visionary entrepreneur and social activist make her a trusted voice on entrepreneurship, youth empowerment, restorative justice, and community collaboration.
Teresa founded Old Skool Cafe, a unique 1940s-style supper club in San Francisco that empowers formerly incarcerated and at-risk youth. Inspired by her experience as a corrections officer, Teresa launched Old Skool Cafe in 2004 to break cycles of poverty and violence by providing employment, hope, and empowerment to young people. Her innovative approach has earned her accolades as a CNN Hero and features in Forbes, World News, and The Huffington Post.
She is currently developing Fairy Godmother, an organization dedicated to helping leaders renew their spirits through small, yet deeply meaningful acts of kindness.
Teresa partners with social entrepreneurs and organizations to help them move from vision to action, offering practical strategies for building sustainable impact in the areas of youth empowerment, restorative justice, and community collaboration.
